Pizzamici is a small, home-based pizza business in Rockaway Beach, Queens, New York, run by James Montalbano. This policy explains what we collect when you order, why, and what we do and do not do with it.
When you start an order we text you a one-time verification code to confirm the number you entered is correct. That is the only automated message we send.
Separately from this, James may text you himself from his own phone about your specific order — that it's ready, or that he's on his way. Those are ordinary person-to-person messages.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or any of your information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Your information is used to make and deliver your pizza, and to keep a record of your past orders so that ordering again is faster. It is seen by James, and by family helping with the business. It is stored in the software the business runs on — our website host and database provider, and the messaging provider that delivers verification codes — who process it only to provide those services on our behalf.
We will share information if we are legally required to.
We keep your order history for as long as the business runs, so we can recognize you and remember your usual order. If you would like your information deleted, ask and we will remove it.
We do not collect or store card numbers. Payment happens in person by cash, or directly through Venmo, CashApp or Zelle, whose own terms apply.
This is a pizza business, not a service aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
