Terms of Service

Pizzamici is a small, home-based pizza business in Rockaway Beach, Queens, New York, run by James Montalbano. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
Ordering
- Pies are square Sicilian, 12 × 17 inches, $30 each. Pepperoni is $5 for half a pie or $8 for a whole one.
- Beach Kits are free.
- Placing an order is a request for a time slot. An order is confirmed when James confirms it. Pizza is made one order at a time in a home kitchen, and on a busy night he may ask you to move your time or pick up instead of taking delivery.
- Ordering closes one hour before a slot, because dough goes in cold and a pizza takes about an hour and a half.
Pickup and delivery
- Pickup is in Rockaway Beach; the address is given when you order.
- Delivery is limited to the Rockaway peninsula and is not always available — on busy nights, or for addresses far from the kitchen, James may text to coordinate or ask you to pick up.
- Delivery times are estimates. One person makes and delivers every pizza, so times can move.
Payment
Payment is made in person in cash (preferred), or by Venmo, CashApp or Zelle. No card details are taken or stored by this site. Payment is due when you receive your order.
Changes and cancellations
Text James as early as you can. Once a pizza is in the oven it can't be un-made, and an order canceled at that point is still owed.
Text messages
- When you begin an order we send one automated verification text to the mobile number you enter, to confirm it's correct.
- Message frequency: one message per order placed. There are no recurring or marketing messages.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.
- Consent to receive the verification text is required in order to place an order through this site, because a reachable number is how your pizza finds you. You can always order by contacting James directly instead.
Messages James sends you personally about your own order — that it's ready, or that he's on the way — come from his own phone and are ordinary person-to-person texts.
Food
Pizza is made in a home kitchen. It contains wheat and dairy, and is prepared in a space where other allergens are present. If you have a food allergy, please tell James before ordering, and use your own judgment.
Liability
This is a one-person neighborhood business doing its best. Pizzamici's responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
